Family Support Advisors Aidan and Nicola introduced pupil 'Safe Council' and the aim of the group to the pupil representatives: 

To share ideas, to provoke discussion, to design resources and to role model 'Stay Safe' behaviour. 

 

Introductions - representatives from years 1 - 6 shared an interesting fact about themselves and why they wanted to join the pupil Safe Council.

Task

To consider important safety messages and to design a poster to communicate key safety messages to other pupils at Mayflower

Children designed posters around the themes of road safety, sun and beach safety, also keeping safe at home. We considered what language, images and messages would have the most impact on other children.
