Together we can...inspire curious learners
Bio
I have been working at Mayflower for a few years now and am proud to be part of the Key Stage 2 team, supporting children as they develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to achieve their full potential. I am passionate about helping pupils succeed both academically and personally, creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to do their best.
A particular interest of mine is sport and physical activity. I believe that participation in sport plays an important role in children's overall development, helping to build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and self-discipline. I enjoy encouraging pupils to lead active lifestyles and supporting them to develop new skills, whether in PE lessons, sporting events, or extracurricular activities. Seeing children challenge themselves, work together, and celebrate their achievements is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
I enjoy building positive relationships with pupils and their families, helping children to feel supported and motivated in all aspects of school life. Through both classroom learning and sporting opportunities, I strive to promote perseverance, respect, and a growth mindset, encouraging pupils to believe in themselves and embrace new challenges.
I am also committed to continually developing my own practice and enjoy participating in our weekly CPD sessions. These opportunities enable me to enhance my skills, learn new approaches, and ensure that I provide the highest quality support to help every child thrive both in the classroom and beyond.
