Together we can...inspire curious learners
Bio
I currently work at Mayflower as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant and am proud to be developing my skills and experience within the Key Stage 2 team. I am passionate about supporting children's learning and development, helping pupils to grow in confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
I enjoy working closely with pupils, teachers, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to succeed. Working alongside experienced colleagues has provided me with valuable opportunities to learn a range of effective teaching and behaviour strategies, enabling me to support children with their individual learning needs.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is building positive relationships with pupils and helping them overcome challenges in their learning. I take pride in encouraging resilience, confidence, and a love of learning, while supporting children to develop the skills they need to become successful and independent learners.
As an apprentice, I am committed to continually developing my knowledge and practice. I particularly enjoy taking part in our weekly CPD sessions, which allow me to reflect on my learning, gain new ideas, and enhance the support I provide in the classroom. I am excited to continue growing in my role and contributing to the success and wellbeing of the children at Mayflower.
