Last year, my co-Director David and I were contacted by Patricia, the owner of the estate, who invited us to perform at a garden party in aid of the RNLI. Naturally, we were thrilled to accept.

Our relationship with Patricia blossomed over the past year as she continued to support our choirs. When she invited us to return for another performance, we eagerly agreed.

Despite a third of our members being absent, the Earlybirds delivered a stellar performance, delighting the audience with hits such as “How Far I’ll Go,” “Cover Me in Sunshine,” and the crowd favourite, “Somewhere Only We Know.”

The children sang beautifully, and the laughter from the top of the garden suggested they enjoyed themselves immensely.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Patricia, Blokes Who Sing, and North Prospect Community Choir for the invitation. We look forward to performing in the gardens of Westfield again next year.
