Together we can...inspire creativity and curiosity in our pupils
Bio
I have been working at Mayflower for many years and have thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a supportive and nurturing school community. I am passionate about supporting children's learning and development, helping every child to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. I enjoy working closely with pupils and their families to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where children feel valued, safe, and motivated to succeed.
I take pride in encouraging confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning, adapting my support to meet the individual needs of each child. Building positive relationships with pupils is an important part of my role, and I find great satisfaction in helping children overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements.
I am also committed to my own professional development and actively enjoy taking part in our weekly CPD sessions, which allow me to strengthen my skills, reflect on my practice, and continually enhance the support I provide for our children and families.

Why Mayflower?
Mayflower to me has always felt like a family. I started here many years ago and every year there is something new and exciting to get involved in.
What I am reading?
I love reading a wide range of books. My favourite thing to do is to sit down of an evening with a good book and get lost in the plot of the book.
What am I Researching?
I have a keen interest in Makaton and how we can bring it into the classroom. I am always updating my knowledge on this so I can support our pupils.
