Festive Voices, Lasting Memories: Our Busiest and Brightest Christmas Yet
What a truly fantastic Christmas season it has been for our children’s and adult choirs! From the first festive notes of rehearsals to the final joyful performances, this has been our busiest Christmas singing season yet - and without a doubt, one of the most rewarding we have ever experienced.
Throughout the season, all of our school choirs gave an incredible account of themselves. The MCA Children’s Choir, EarlyBirds, and City of Sons Boys Choir each rose to the occasion and delivered performances that were nothing short of sensational. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for music were clear to see and hear in every setting they performed in.
Our choirs had the privilege of singing in a wide variety of venues, including local churches, school grottos, and events across the wider community. Each performance brought something special, spreading festive cheer and creating memorable moments for audiences of all ages. No matter the location, our singers approached every opportunity with professionalism, excitement, and a real sense of pride.
The children performed with infectious energy and enthusiasm, while also demonstrating impressive vocal control and musicality. They delivered every song with confidence and warmth, sharing the Christmas joy that has come to be expected from this incredibly talented group of young singers. Their ability to connect with audiences and bring the true spirit of the season to life has been a joy to witness.
Behind the scenes, this busy season has also been a wonderful example of teamwork and community spirit. From rehearsals to performances, everyone played a part in making this Christmas such a success. On behalf of myself, the choir team, and our partners at NPCC, and BWS, we would like to extend a huge thank you to all families and supporters. Your continued encouragement, flexibility, and support for your children - and for our wider community choirs - mean more than we can say.
We are also incredibly proud of our adult choirs, who have once again shown what can be achieved when a community comes together through music. Singing brings people of all ages together, and this Christmas season has been a perfect reminder of the power of music to connect, uplift, and inspire.
As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited about what’s to come and the many musical opportunities that lie ahead.
